For the past three years I have been regularly hounded by people, who work for companies, who say that they can provide me with cheaper telephone calls. I would always attempt to be as polite as possible before advising them that I was not interested in any way, shape, or form. This however has recently changed - in fact it has seemingly turned full circle as I have been sourcing a way of reducing my telephone bills.

So you may well be wondering as to why I have now become interested in potentially switching my telephone calls provider. Well to keep it in its most basic form it is all down to my current financial situation which is rather dire to say the least. The recent recession has hit me and my family very badly - so much so that we are looking to lower our monthly outgoings as much as possible. We are taking a fairly similar stance to that of our UK government which is also implementing a massive cost cutting exercise.

It is not just cheap calls that we have been trying to obtain - there has also been lower electricity and gas, lower mortgage repayments and lower television costs - we used to have cable however for now we have reverted back to just the main five UK t.v channels. I will however miss my football!

The internet has become a huge source of help for me when trying to obtain the lowest prices and this is where I found the company that we have now switched to with regards our telephone calls. The cost savings have been quite considerable which is very much welcomed.

I am now hoping, of course, that the world wide web can help me to make further cost savings with some of our other regular bills.
